Helping Beneath the Wood Sanctuary feed their 91 rescued pigs.
Many people will have heard the story of the #53Pigs and their piglets, as featured on Dog Desk Radio’s recent interview with Sasha from Beneath the Wood Sanctuary.
There were 91 pigs in total rescued from a hell hole farm and illegal slaughter house. Imagine 91 pigs, that is quite a herd! Did you know that a pig’s natural life span is 15-20 years?
We need to try and help Sasha at the sanctuary feed all these pigs because 91 pigs need a lot of food!
One bag of feed feeds four pigs for one day. This equates to £1.80 a day per pig.
This adds up to a whopping £4,586 a month!
