First Ever Veganic Nut Plantation in the Scottish Highlands

The dream is to create a new system of how we produce food and care for the land under Highland Veganics at Badarach Croft. Veganic farming removes the exploitation of sentient beings used for food and their manure. Badarach Croft has in total approximately 180 acres. 100 acres of common grazing and 80 acres of croft land. The plan is to apportion the common grazing and place into a native reforest scheme and the croft land to be partially rewilded and partially used to grow plant proteins.

February 2020 saw the plantation of the first mixed cobnut orchards ever to be planted in the Scottish Highlands.
